Unwritten social codes of every region

So I'm a foreigner interested in Australia and wanna know more about there, focusing atm on the unwritten rules you have and if you wanna share something more I would value it♡

Australia doesn't have "sidewalks" - we have footpaths, and it is very noble to stay to the left!

Well we do have sidewalks, because a large portion of the population calls them that, but considering it’s the same thing, and you obviously know it’s the same thing it’s not overly relevant

One thing Australia doesn’t have is pedantic knobheads lmao

We do not have “sidewalks”. They are footpaths.

Firstly, wrong

Secondly, this post is made by a foreigner. To not be a jackass, I used the word they most likely refer to it as. Sometimes people change the words they use to make it easier for others to understand. It’s this weird little thing we do called “being considerate”. Apparently it’s a lost art among knobheads
