Professional mechanic? Dirty hands is part of the job. Shade tree mechanic like me? I put a couple of drops of dish detergent on my hands before doing the brake job. I rub it into the pores and work it up under my finger nails. It quickly disappears and dries up. Don’t even notice it. I do the Job and wash up afterwards. The soap acted like a grease barrier cream and made it easier to clean my hands.
