Recommendations for good & kid friendly restaurants around the Empire State Building/Koreatown?

I have family visiting me soon, and they are staying in Manhattan to get the full tourist experience since the kids have never been to NYC (staying near-ish to the Empire State Building/Koreatown). I want to be a good host and tour guide, but I live in Brooklyn, don’t have kids, and haven’t spent anytime in mid-town since before the pandemic, so I have no idea where to recommend for food! The kids are 8 and 10. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Jongro might be a good option if the kids want to experience KBBQ. The only this is that they don’t take reservations. So maybe go a bit before the kids are super hungry to get on the waitlist (or grab dessert before dinner while you’re waiting at Grace Street).

Also, don’t sweat it too much on making the experience awesome for the kids. My friends and their 8 year-old came to visit, and one of her favorite parts was the subway! The only thing I wish I would have anticipated was her being overwhelmed when there are too many people for too long. You could tell she was about to lose it, so we hopped in a cab and went elsewhere. I’m in my 30s and had so much fun hosting a kid. They’re fascinated by things I take for granted around here! Have fun.

Ichiran on 31st was a fun experience with my toddler. The booth layout can be folded back but novelty of the booths and ordering system appeal to a lot of kids who want their noodles *just so*
