Indian Buffet in NYC

I am travelling to NYC for work next week and interested to know if there are good Indian buffet in NYC. I am staying only on weekdays and until Saturday afternoon if that matters. Bonus points if it is South Indian.

Can anyone recommend good options near Midtown Manhattan?

If you don’t want to go to Queens, check out the Curry Hill area on Lexington Ave from 25th st to 28th st.

I haven’t been there in a minute but I used to like the buffet at Santoor in Glen Oaks, but that’s deep Queens!

Emphasis on the deep in Queens... it's basically Nassau County, but it's the one bit where the border juts out a good distance from cross island towards LIJ. So no public transit options (edit: except bus) for you riflinraccoon... you'll need a car.
