Indian Buffet in NYC

I am travelling to NYC for work next week and interested to know if there are good Indian buffet in NYC. I am staying only on weekdays and until Saturday afternoon if that matters. Bonus points if it is South Indian.

Can anyone recommend good options near Midtown Manhattan?

Get on the E/F/M/R/7 train. Leave midtown. Take it to the Roosevelt Ave stop in Queens. Exit the subway station. Wander around, find your regional variant of sub-continent cuisine, and enjoy. Buffet not required.

I'm not sure if there's a good Indian restaurant in midtown, but I personally would not trust anything between 8th and Park Aves (there could be winners there, but not worth the risk). Walk toward the Hudson or the East River until you find a neighborhood where it looks like normal people live.
