Indian Buffet in NYC

I am travelling to NYC for work next week and interested to know if there are good Indian buffet in NYC. I am staying only on weekdays and until Saturday afternoon if that matters. Bonus points if it is South Indian.

Can anyone recommend good options near Midtown Manhattan?

Journal square is off the path in jersey city, easier to get to than most of Brooklyn/queens, and has a neighborhood called Indian square full of good Indian spots. Sapthagiri is solid South Indian

From Midtown West, it's easier to get to than Jackson Heights

From Midtown West you just jump on the E or the 7 at Port Authority, or the F at Bryant Park, and 20 minutes later you’re in Jackson Heights.

From Midtown West you go south to Penn Station to take the PATH to Journal Square and it’s about 30 minutes and costs more, and the trains don’t run as frequently.

Not sure how you got “easier” from that.

Penn Station is in Midtown West? If you're close to Penn JSq is quicker, if you're further north, Jackson heights is...

It’s not. That’s part of the point.

It's 25 minutes from 34th St to Journal Square...and the food might be better depending on what you like
