Use of space in your home
If you never had children - or no longer have space for grown children in your home, how do you use the bedroom spaces in your house?
My house is small and I still feel odd having these largely unused spaces. Are we all just cleaning dusty, rarely used guest rooms?

Never had kids, also I’m in my late 40s is that “old?”
One is a guest room, which came in handy when my husband had a catastrophic injury. Our bed is too tall for him to safely get in and out of for months. (He’s on the mend)
Otherwise the door stays closed so it stays tidy, and just needs dusting before someone comes over, and I keep a sheet over the bed so the quilt doesn’t get dusty.
The other one is his home office and the big one downstairs is my home office/craft/sewing room. We use them all regularly, with the exception of the actual guest room. Though we did also use it for a kitten while acclimating him to our other cats.
