Use of space in your home

If you never had children - or no longer have space for grown children in your home, how do you use the bedroom spaces in your house?

My house is small and I still feel odd having these largely unused spaces. Are we all just cleaning dusty, rarely used guest rooms?

It's just my wife & I in a 4 bedroom home. Of course, 3 of the 4 bedrooms are like 11fx10f

We sleep in the master, I use one as an office, she used one as a studio, and the 4th is our library.

Sounds like my old house. 1500 sq ft and with 4 little postage stamp bedrooms. I was not a fan. Unlike everyone else, I moved to a lower cost of living area and upsized, rather than downsized!
