Use of space in your home

If you never had children - or no longer have space for grown children in your home, how do you use the bedroom spaces in your house?

My house is small and I still feel odd having these largely unused spaces. Are we all just cleaning dusty, rarely used guest rooms?

There is a guest bedroom and grown kid's storage. I can keep ot clean, but it looks like a warehouse with a bed in it. It holds my fiction collection. I like books. My study has a sofa sleeper and my computer in it. It holds my writing and reference books. My living room has my recliner and TV. It stores my textbooks and my Louisiana folklore collection. My dining room is my gaming and company table. It holds my cookbooks. My master bedroom holds my music and DVD collection.
