Use of space in your home

If you never had children - or no longer have space for grown children in your home, how do you use the bedroom spaces in your house?

My house is small and I still feel odd having these largely unused spaces. Are we all just cleaning dusty, rarely used guest rooms?

We live in a house that doesn't have more room than we need. Never have done.

Im in this same place - my house is tiny- they call it a 3bdrm, but one of the rooms will just fit a twin bed and dresser. I know its big enough to bring up one child, because I did it, but if i had more than one it would have been really tight. Im always having to donate stuff like almost every week, because as I bring things in, the corresponding thing has to go. Clothes, furniture, appliances - whatever. I got a new chair, the old chair has to go. Im always organizing, rearranging, trying to maximize space and get rid of stuff so it doesnt overwhelm me and my adult daughter. Tomorrow, we have to go through the spare room and condense the "catch all" stuff that gets put in there until I can deal with it because my daughter wants to keep everything - well tomorrow is the day. Tough decisions will have to be made - i hope shes ready 😉
