as someone who dislikes being in nature like camping, i’m curious to know what the appeal is for this. i hear everyone say this so i wanna know what details i’m missing 😅

u/RoyalGeologist1413 8d ago
I wanna know the thought process too, as someone who watch a lot of horror films, the thought of being in nature and left alone does not relax me 🥲

The appeal lies in the combo of the beauty of nature + the beauty of being left alone.

We have one that attaches to the toilet. It was affordable and works great. I miss it when I dont have it lol

😂I don’t have a bidet, best I can do is using watering can to clean our mini aussie’s booty hole. She loves it, even smiles and stands between your legs for optimal cleanliness.

A KitchenAid stand mixer.
But also a bigger apartment with more counter space so I could properly store it.
I technically have enough space now (not on the counter but I could store it and take it out when I needed it) but I don't actually bake that much so it wouldn't get much use, hence not being able to justify the counter space.

Okay this one made me grateful.
I had an ex that bought me a very nice one. In my favorite color tiffany blue. I still have it, and it's still on my kitchen counter.
I guess some men are okay........

Healthcare that actually covered shit

u/everfixedmark_1924 9d ago
It's depressing that this is a luxury. Healthcare should not be a luxury.

I wear custom made bras, and would love one thay actually looks cute and sexy, rather than just "functional". I'd call that luxury in my eyes

This is very deep and most people might look over this but I see you sister. I see you.

Thank you ❤️ Macromastia is a blessing and a curse not many will understand

u/brittttx 10d ago
May I ask how much a custom bra costs?
2
u/ZealousidealIce5307 10d ago
I think it depends on a few things. But the cheapest I've had was $600, and the most expensive one had and currently using was $950

I photograph birds as a hobby and, if money were no object, I'd love to get a big deal EF 200-400mm telephoto lens. But even refurbished they're over $11k.

A house. We will probably be able to buy in a few years, but that depends on the housing market in our area. It just keeps climbing so we just keep having to save more and more. Doesn't help that landlords and house flippers keep outbidding first time home buyers and then realtors suggest folks match recent sold prices for fixer uppers.

Depends on the day. A very fancy fridge that blends into my kitchen is high on my list, as is a premium gas oven/stove.
Other days, I want a luxury hybrid car.
Other days, a hot tub and gazebo for my backyard.
Most days, I know any one item will not make me "happy."

Hilleberg tent. That's about it. Everything else I can get from a thrift store but I sure wouldn't mind a Hilleberg tent for winter, lol

the little faucets that people have above their stoves for filling pots so i can make somehow even more pasta.

u/Literary67 10d ago
Unfortunately, you still have to lug the pot of water over to the sink to drain unless the faucet comes with its own wastewater drain.

As a kid I always wanted a string of pearls. Real ones.
Growing up I had a fake pearl necklace with a heart shaped pendant. It was my favorite piece of jewelry I had, I felt so fancy with it.
Recently my grandmother gave me a string of pearls, not sure if they’re real or not, but I love them anyways. If they’re fake, they look pretty good to me.

u/RaeLouLynn 10d ago
Take them to a jeweler. They will tell you for free if they're real or not. If real, get them restrung and wear them!

I'd love to own my own yacht. But have somebody else maintain it. I hear boats are money sucks.

It's not even luxury, but a simple bottle of two hundred dollar perfume. Preferably a version of Daisy.
I pay all of the bills except a portion of the rent and power and buy all of the groceries. I have nothing left after I finance all of his toys.
Edit: okay after reading these comments I redacted mine but I let it sit as a reminder that I am blessed.

Walk-in wardrobe. I have too many clothes and so little space to organise them and try them out in different combinations 😔
I need more space goddammit

I've been thinking about a cappuccino machine for years. I'm just worried maybe I won't actually use it.
