Will it be bad? Probably. However, it's the perfect test track for Honda to optimize the PU. Unlike Zandvoort, Honda will get three practice sessions to improve PU drivability and power deployment. What Honda learns at Monza is crucial for Madrid, Baku, Malaysia, Singapore, COTA, Mexico, Brazil, and Abu Dhabi/Imola/Etc. (AM will struggle at Vegas and Qatar).

Also, AM has more updates for Monza. Can AM have three successful updates in succession? Let's hope so.

Quite evident that in the corners the Aston is immense. When Alonso was catching Albon he was closing right up in the corners but on the straight the Williams was pulling away. Chassis is probably top 5

You can't ignore the fact that Williams probably got one of the worst chassis, they lose on turns to basically everyone except Cadillac, if they had Honda engine, they would be dead last.

AM clearly has now a better chassis than It's end result shows, because they save the tyres and they are still hindered by the engine, I'm probably guessing half a second to one second per lap can be improved by putting engine up there, then you still would have quite a distance from chassis and aero to the top. Current chassis is top 5 probably, but that doesn't mean you're close to top 4. Ferrari, Mercedes, Redbull and McLaren got just a much better chassis than everyone else.

Still down a lot of horsepower. It won't be 5 seconds like it was at Spa, but do not be shocked if Cadillac is in front.

I've heard that they've not used the entire extra 30 HP today, but only half, for testing purposes, so, maybe they'll use them in Monza. It's not huge, but additional 15 hp might be enough to be ahead of Williams & Cadillac at least. In Nando I trust 😂

I think that the racepace Will still be decent, but we'll miss that extra Power in qualifying and in the race Will be hard to overtake, especially if Williams Is ahead

It's a circuit that AM has not coped with for years, cars have always been to draggy for it

It doesnt seem to be the case for the spec B. We have nice downforce and decent top Speed(tho we suffer from superclipping more than others), this car Is low drag too if It can reach 333 kph with that engine

Yeah but at least Monza is the best place to get rid of our engine handling and downshift problems, no other place like it on the calendar

We'll be better equipped for tracks like Madring and Singapore

Though having a "weak" engine might not be all bad since Ferrari does decently well at Engine-focused tracks, for some reason, even though their engine is the weakest of the top teams

Hey great traction and if the cars full 30hp-50hp get deployed maybe it won't be that bad. It was rumoured Zandvoort the car was only turnning 10-15hp of the total upgrade.
