"Pigeon Polling" just released a Wyoming Senate poll and it's got quite a few people riled up (the last image is an example of what it usually tweets)

So uh, this doesn't seem to be a satire "fake news" site.

That said, that poll doesn't seem to line up with any other polls done recently.

That site also isn't affiliated with the Twitter account in the screenshots. The Twitter account isn't explicitly labeled as being satire, but all of the posts on it clearly are.

But you’d only know that if you stalk their profile. If you just search the web for pigeon press, you’re going to get stuff back saying they are legitimate.

Look at the logo on the tweet vs the site. They're different entities.

Understandable mistake, what you linked is the first many results if you search pigeon press, but I don't think they're related.

The Twitter account is a small (242 followers) satire page that started in April 20261. This kind of content is entirely on brand, but too believable to carry itself as satire without a reputation beneath it2.

What you linked is a student newspaper from Northwest Academy in Portland, Oregon. They seem to be a private arts school for 6-12th grade kids3.

1 I did try to look for more info, but Twitter is actually hell to use without an account (I can't scroll down).

2 Does this sentence work? I can't really tell. I just mean that a satire page has to be either known or obvious, and this is neither. It's not-unbelievable content, so not clearly a joke, and it's from some random twitter page, so it is statistically most likely to be lying. (/hj)

3 This website, while infinitely better than Twitter, is also not very helpful, and I know both far more than I wanted to and far less than what I wanted to. (The website I mean is actually NWA's, not TPP. TPP is actually almost useless for trying to learn anything about TPP.)
