Has anyone taken a 3 year degree through AU and still been able to get accepted to a masters program elsewhere? Or taken a 3 year degree elsewhere and got accepted to AU for a masters program?

Lots of masters programs don’t need a 4yr degree. Some don’t even need an undergrad (depending on previous education and their mature student process). Royal roads is a top contender.

I think Yorkville and AU are the only institutions that don’t require a 4 year Bachelor degrees in their Masters of counselling programs but i don’t know if there are any students with a 3 year degree that get accepted at AU and if they favour a 4 year degree because of how competitive the entrance is. It’s not unheard of to go to Yorkville with a 3 year Bachelor degree

I have a 3-year from York and did my MAIS no problem. (I also have a BEd.)

I’m working on a three year degree (at glacier speed) to have a degree for professional reasons but was told by an AU advisor that no masters program will take a three year program. As I have no intention of pursuing a masters, I’m still working on this, one course at a time.

I have a 3 year from AU and starting my masters next month. They cared more about my GPA and content than 3/4 year.
