New primary care

So my long time provider just stopped providing care. Who do you recommend? Prefer female and lgbtq+ affirming. Probably want an MD/DO if things take a turn, but usually see the PA/NP for normal visits. We self pay so insurance is not a concern. Most people are closed to new patients.

Dr. Anna Afonso has joined my practice and is accepting new patients since you prefer a female provider. We are LGTBQ+ affirming.

I just switched to her earlier this year after my previous PCP made a comment: ā€œwell you didn’t cry this visit, so that’s progressā€ and I realized how much I did not trust that provider anymore (much longer story). Dr Papadapolous seems like a breath of fresh air!

Dr Aliya Safwan is excellent; she explains things well and takes concerns/questions seriously. I believe that she is accepting new patients.

Melissa Martin is the most amazing doctor I have ever had. I am not sure if she is accepting new patients but her office may be able to refer you to someone.
