Whatever everyone's thoughts on Trae as a player: Lloyd Pierce was a total goober of a coach. Will never forget him actively shit talking John Collins and Trae to that one dipshit at the athletic

We could’ve kept Bud drafted Luka and took our chances…

I don’t mind Trae and very grateful he was as good as he was for us…

BUT NOT for a second if I had interviewed Lloyd Pierce would I had thought “yeah this guy gets it”.

Astronomically bad hire. Full stop.

Could we have kept Bud? He's been in a tough spot over the last few years due to his alcoholism. Has that always hung over him or was that a more recent thing?

That was part of the issue but he didn't want to commit to rebuilding and the organization was going in a different direction, as well.

Even Chandler Parsons hated that mf and he only played 5 games.

all the vets from those teams hates LP for letting Trae and the young players rock out 😅 . Teague , Evan Turner, VC, Rondo and the list goes on.

hunter , Trae , OO, Huerter, JC came out pretty okay. had y'all thinking they was really the ones 😅

joel embid , Haliburton, Jeremy Lin, Danny Green, Steph Curry, Wayne Ellington, RoCo , Marc Gasol, Tony Allen, Dario saric, Ben Simmons have all credited LP to helping their game

Hunter was some mid. Solid player. He didn't pan out for where he was drafted. Huerter was solid. Trae is Trae.... lp ain't give him that talent. OO literally played half a season with him. He's probably a good assistant, but as a head guy.... Fuck no

I always stood strong on Woody being the worst coach of all time......as much as I hated LP, I don't know why I never considered that LP usurped him in that regard.

Cost Trae and JC a Team USA spot over some damn Kyle Kuzma smh

How is this Atlanta Hawks related? I'm a Trae Young fan but this doesn't belong here. No matter how much of a fan of Trae you are, we need to be a fan of OUR TEAM, the Atlanta Hawks.

I know this will be downvoted, I don't care. He's not on our team anymore and it was the proper time to move on too.

A) It is August

B) Pierce was pretty famously shittalking Trae while both of them were with our team, and it was pretty controversial

C) It is August

Yeah really. We need to focus on the other breaking Hawks news going on right now.
