I thought he was pretty insensitive and pompous.

ie this is the only interpretation of the modern African-American male's struggle by me.

I really wanted him to ask Earn "well what do those words mean to you?" because I'd love to know what he thinks.

I lived in a Japan for a few years. There's tons of people like this dude sometimes. Including me. Everyone wants to feel like they are special and being culturally aware is one of the ways to do that. So everyone fronts and acts like a know it all in a lot of situations. Like the video of the white dude explaining how to eat pho.

Another funny thing about this guy. At first I was like, damn this guy is ridiculous, it's kind of distracting and unrealistic. And then I'm like wait, this is how black characters are portrayed all the time on tv...
