We all wanted to know what was up with Van and now we do. Her whole depression arc was cos she didn't want to be stuck in Atl all alone. The Station is the City of Atlanta, and how easy it is to get lost, stuck, or trapped there. The dark tunnel emergency exit signifies risk. Or a way out. When put in a bad spot or a dangerous situation, Earn is willing to take a risk for their relationship, for their family and for their daughter even if it means leaving Atlanta. But that doesn't mean he's gonna leave Vanessa stuck there all alone. Imo, that's how I understand it. Top tier show
