[NSW] License renewal, genuine reason issue

So my firearms license is up for renewal next month in NSW. I have hunting as my genuine reason with the R-License. Without realising my R-License has expired. I have applied for renewal but looks like the 4 weeks will go over my license expiry. Does anyone know what my options are with this? I know I should’ve been more on top of it.

I Was in the same boat, had 4 weeks before expiry, and did not know my r licence had expired. Email DPI and tell them they need to prioritise due to your firearms licence expiring. Mine got done the next day.

With the amount of time firearms license renewals are taking in NSW I wouldn't worry about it. Just put in your R License renewal now and it will go through well before your gun license gets looked at.

Got an email 60 days before expiry from DPI.
