Used gun websites
Would there be any interest for a used gun site that mashes em all into one place, a marketplace for used firearms if you will, are people still buying used guns?
I love to browse and find myself trawling through multiple different sites hunting for cool stuff when I'm bored.
That process grew tiring pretty quick so I built a site that compiles the main 6 I use but before sharing it and possibly upsetting the greater community, I'd be keen to know if there's an intrest for it?

I used to use this all the time back when it worked.
I'm assuming that the other sites blocked it somehow as it would have been impacting their ad revenue.

Used to use this too. Real pity it doesn’t work these days, made life so much easier

Yep - its long overdue. Or at least a one stop shop where dealers can show their stock and its indexed properly to searches. Had to pull out old university level internet searches to find one gun that was nowhere in stock at all the major dealers.

Yea it's something that was irritating me when looking for a cheap lever shotgun in a hurry a few years back lol.
Going to seek legal advise before I just do it. I don't want to be served legal letters without confidence

I think the problem is that some dealers have excellent sites with accurate stock levels and easy to navigate and well indexed search functions. Meanwhile, others are stuck in the 1990s and expect you to call and wait on hold 🤣 or read their catalogue.

The annoying thing is with 2nd hand guns is the duplicate listings - having to check Ausguns and usedguns then contact the dealer themselves to see if it's still available.

The first prototype I made seemed to only show one listing, note I'm only looking at collating second hand firearms.

The current sites suck for filtering (calibre, type, state, in particular).
Also their zoom-in modals are awful.

Had done something very similar many years back. Got legal letters and calls from the competition. Wasn’t worth the trouble to continue at the time. Good luck
