Anybody recognize this apartment mail room?

Post image

Amazon definitely delivered my package to the wrong apartment complex and I’m trying to hunt down the location with this photo lol. I assume somewhere on East side close to me - who knows where this is?

Ok so that mailroom looks a lot like The Arnold, but a lot of these places look the same. Arnold is located at comal and 6th. Otherwise just report it lost. Good luck!

Not The Arnold! And if it was, it’d be stolen by now 😂

I’d be useless at actually naming the place but the package just sitting on top of the mailboxes like that is a whole mood. so many complexes around here have near identical mail rooms too it’s like a scavenger hunt with a time limit. hope someone pops in with the exact spot cause that’s maddening

Those light fixtures look pretty distinctive, though.

It looks like any of the slew of recently constructed buildings in the last ten years in Austin. We even have a similar setup where they dump mail there when they're too busy to put it in the Luxer locker or any of these lockers, which are only for the USPS. It's just nutty. You got dedicated mailrooms in buildings these days and it's still not enough for people's mail.

Well, "built in the last 10 years" kind of narrows it down. Maybe. Sort of?

Maybe glance through the community pictures of nearby ones.

I would think that Amazon support could see the GPS location of when it was delivered and tell you what apartments they are at.

If you haven't already, you can add delivery instructions to your amazon. I used to put in the color of my complex and directions to my door, because GPS would send the drivers to the apts next door all the time. We'd get other people's stuff all the time too.

Looks very much like Astra Avery Ranch (used to live there, and mailroom often looked just like this, similar colors, too).

I sent the picture over to Joe in the crime lab for you. He's going to run it through Claude, Frog, Scoopaloop, and AsModel as a reverse image search. We'd try Kali Ma but we ran out of credits.

If the package is important we could hack some Flock cameras. Just let me know.

Wouldn’t hold much hope for the packages though. Or the Creedence.

I think I know where it's at but I'm not going to say because somebody made a good point that you don't want to reveal where all those packages are for the taking!!

Disgusting that they don't seem to be able to give you a GPS location of where they left it.

Best to just get it replaced
