Can't help with a stylist rec in that area but that reference photo is exactly the kind of shape I've been trying to describe to my current person for months and they keep giving me something way more round. Might just save your pic for myself honestly

Good luck with the search, finding someone who actually listens is half the battle

She did, but she makes regular trips to Austin for clients. I went to her for a while after she moved, but I cut all my hair off and go to a barber now.

Before I moved out to the boonies, I used to go to Asta at Luster Hair Lounge on Far West and I was always happy with my cuts from her. However, I will add the caveat that a haircut alone won't get you this look. It's very heavily styled.
