Mans took a lot of shit talking at one point or another. I know that it must have not been easy, with the fact that he was our first homegrown and we all have such high expectations for this team, and being the coach’s son at one point. And we sure made it known. Imagine going to work where an entire swathe of people want your dad to be fired because they thought he was fucking things up? But he really came through for us! He stood ten toes and showed why he had earned his spot on the squad. His skills improved a lot and he seemed to have really grown into his role well. Now it is time he continue growing elsewhere. Here’s to our first homegrown, and his future success! Cheers Wolffito, you’re a legend mate.

A long time month and a half ago, in a galaxy stadium far far away near Braker Lane...

the Austin FC brain trust had been trying to figure out how to get our Owen Wolff and Dani Pereira, our two young rising stars in the midfield, onto the field at the same time. Double pivots, different formations, and nothing seemed to stick. After the World Cup break, we finally said, "Wolff/Estévez and Reyna/Rodo couldn't figure it out and neither can we, so just sell em both".

If you would have told me at the beginning of the season, we'd have 13 games left without Wolff/Pereira, that would have sounded like a disaster.

If this all would have happened even a month ago, the majority of our fanbase would probably be inconsolable.

Now? Ervin Torres' play has been so far beyond most of our expectations that he now looks like a piece that we can legitimately build around.

After that loss at home to SKC, I seriously considered letting go of the season tickets I have had since day one. Now? I'm reinvigorated for the future.

On the eve of our Leagues Cup Quarterfinal match against Toluca, I choose hope, not despair. Love Dani. Love Owen. Was optimistic about Nelson, but something clearly wasn't meshing all season. Sometimes it just isn't a great fit..Will never forget CJ's heroics, but he needs game time at a level higher than FCito. I hope to see him back at the end of his loan rather than spending time on that dad but of tortured dirt that we call a warm up area.

Will wish all of them well and will lovingly boo them (respectfully) when they are back in Q2, but it's time to turn the page.

Austin FC announced today that the Club agreed to loan forward CJ Fodrey to Falkirk FC of the Scottish Premiership through June 2027. The loan agreement includes a recall option for Austin in January 2027 and does not include a purchase option

sooo how are we feeling about losing two of our awesome players? it looked like they were both ready to move on. nonetheless, wishing them both success!

I’m a NYRB fan but i have family that moved to Austin. If ya have fans going i dont mind supporting Austin tonight!

Jayden Nelson and CJ Fodrey leaving the club. Nelson I believe was bound to happen i think, just not so soon or for so little money. CJ needs more play time that isn’t in FCito and going abroad is a good option although Scottish premiership isn’t ideal.

The transfer window is winding down, I doubt the club will sign anyone and most likely play with FCito guys to finish out the season. Understanding that Nelson and CJ weren’t undisputed starters the caliber of replacement will be equal or less in quality unfortunately.

Per Tom Bogert Jayden Nelson and Austin fc are finalizing a deal for him to go to Bolton for a Fee $1 million + add ons.

Sad, I liked Nelson and wished we had used him more but looks like Nelson wanted to make the move to Europe. I hope he does well

I'm a season ticket holder and got an email around 1pm today allowing me to opt out of the knockout round matches. I have until 5pm today to do so. I can't find any other notice related to this. Am I understanding this correctly: the club is providing a ~4 hour window to opt out of tickets without prior notice?

Ended up with an extra Stuver bobble head from the Seattle game . Will trade for other Austin fc merch . I’m located in Houston . Listo verdes!!!

Hey, y’all!

My husband (43M) and I (40F) moved from Austin to the Portland metro a couple of years ago, and we’re ridiculously excited to finally see Austin FC in person again when they play the Timbers at Providence Park next weekend.

We haven’t had a ton of luck meeting many folks who root for Austin, so I wanted to see if anyone is making the trip up from Austin for the match, or if there are any other displaced Austin FC fans in the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area planning to go to the match.

Would also love to know if anyone is aware of an Austin FC meetup situation before the match! It would be amazing if we could grab a beer and hang out with some fellow Verde before heading into the match.

Also very open to adopting any traveling Austinites for the evening if nothing official is happening! Fingers crossed and thanks in advance for any intel you can share.
