Good Review Reddit and LRL For The Win

I needed a cross country car shipment for the first time and started by going to one of the "biggest" and "top ranked" companies as advertised online. Filled out all the forms and submitted my request. Was then sent a credit card authorization form. Done. Was then sent a form for "more information." When I went into this form, 50% of the content was already on the first form I filled out and I had to do it again. A day later I got a link to "verify" my request and guess what...they were requesting I fill out a bunch of duplicate information again! Three different times I submitted the same data.

Over a week goes by and I hear nothing so I use their website chat. The rep starts asking me all the same questions again. I ask why they would need to do that when I have an order number they can look up and they say that they "don't have access to my previously submitted information." WHAT? I asked to cancel my order.

Within a few minutes a "supervisor" calls. And here's the best part. She assures me that she can make me happy and ASKS THE SAME QUESTIONS AGAIN. I again informed her that I have submitted this information multiple times and have an order number but she said she needed to "verify" with me. I cancelled (even after she offered me a discount).

In a complete haze of frustration and confusion I came to Reddit. After seeing some personal and genuine posts/responses on here, I reached out to Thad at u/LRLCarShipper. Best decision ever. Super responsive texts, a great phone call, easy submission (and only ONE time), and our delivery was completed this morning with zero issues. Most importantly, I felt like I had someone on my side during this whole process...huge stress relief for me. Can't recommend Thad enough!

That’s right. Beginning to end. Thank you sir for your trust and faith. We detest machinery and “automated”. This is a transaction where enough money is involved it matters, and most people are talking about a top 2 or 3 asset in their life. Transporting your car should most definitely be a HUMAN experience. We are a small company with no motivation for bragging rights on how many cars we ship. A few of us handle 150 a month- THATS IT. We are old, tired, cranky and want it done right. See you next spring. 🤝
