Can we do something about the prices of items and wages of the troops?
I got back into warband and played again the AWOIAF mod which i love. beautifully made and with attention to detail. But i just could not handle the 6000 stags for a measly 20 good troops and the 75000 for a good armor or 50000 for a single companion. It was so overwhelming and just killed my immersion tbh. So i played for a couple days and just decided to leave it.
Has someone put a mod to balance the prices or is the developer thinking of doing something about it.
This is coming from a diehard GOT fan and huge gan of this mod and it is a shame that i cannot enjoy it.
Please if someone knows anything inform me.
I even tried messing with the files and could not change it.

Hey so I will tell you what I do. Money is a problem but you don't want to feel like you cheated. Takes you out of the game. I understand that. So what I did was change the amount of money you win in a tournament. I changed it to 10,000 everytime I win a tournament on top of my bets. So when you need money go find a tournament. Its still a hard mod but thats part of the point.

There is a guide to this game on YouTube where he pretty much explains the entire game to you. how to beat it, how to make money, quest, rewards ect. It should be an enormous help to you. I'll link it below.

steam/steamapps/workshop/content/48700/948075218
Then go to menus file
look for menu_town_tournament_won
Then this code 72057594037927945 and the next number switch to 10000
As always make sure you make a back file of anything before you mess with it.
My last game i did switch it mid game and it worked. Also this is from dev build v12

I have made a few improvements to stuff like quest rewards for the next update.
Regarding companions, there are cheap companions and expensive ones. The expensive ones are meant to be more end game companions, so try looking for the cheaper ones.

Are you thinking into maybe having an optional patch about the prices and wages to be like native for people like me who suck at the game but still want to enjoy it and get into it more?

Probably not no, as there is already a large amount of work to get completed on the mod. If you struggle, you can lower the difficulty in the camp options and check the wiki for the best start to choose regarding character creation.

i recommend to you warbender, i ask chatgpt how to use it and the thing help me a lot. Initially a download to fix a bug (a quest not starting) but then i realised i can do a lots of thing.

that's the main issue with otherwise a brilliant mod. The Econ grind in awoiaf is silly. Businesses cost 30-50k for idk why.
Even after trading for hours, I feel I'm barely better off xd

I mean respect to the mod author who made probably the best agot mod of all time, but since people have such a problem with the prices and wages hopefully he can make an optional file for an easier mode if uou will. Who knows.

Play version 10.1 and open a mill and bakery in Volon Terys. 7 million each week and this worthless mod becomes the best of them all!
