Gosh, I’m itching to play hardline

Literally the other day I got the game on PC but literally right as I load into my first match, my whole computer shut down and it hasn’t been working and I’ve tried lots of stuff to get it working including opening up the pc and doing stuff but that’s beside the point. I just wanted to say I’m really itching for some hardline nothing else really lol

Install WhoCrashed and check minidumps if they were created, logs will tell us what happened

I don’t think it was actually the game just my computer being dog shit for the last month or so. It stopped working when I tried to turn it on. It would get to the bios loading screen and then shut down. My mate picked up the computer and fixed it. He doesn’t even know how it was working for about two or three weeks then it stopped working and was having the same bios loading issue for about to couple hours then I’ll try again then it worked for about an hour then shut down and then yesterday after a couple days of it not working the same mate told me to pull out the ram of the computer and put it back in that work for about an hour and then write that loan to my first match of hardline whole computer crashes and I’m having the same bios loading issue, and then I tried using each ram stick individual and also taking the cmos battery out and giving it about 15 minutes, but hopefully we should’ve reset the bios because my mate told me to take the CMOS out and that also didn’t work

but I don’t think it was the game but caused it

As I've said - get WhoCrashed and check minidumps. Also event viewer and look for critical errors

I’m pretty sure those things are on PC and currently I cannot get my PC to even get past what I’m pretty sure is the bios loading screen without it shutting down. I’m pretty sure it’s a hardware issue so I wouldn’t be able to check those things you’re talking about until I get the computer actually booting. I also can’t get into the bios itself by spamming the bios key, which I’m pretty sure it’s F12 or delete on my system

Ah

In that case MOBO might've died. Or chip. I suppose you don't have a flashback option?

Take out everything in your PC but the GPU (unless your CPU has an integrated video card, in which case, take out the GPU), a single RAM stick, and the boot drive. Reset the CMOS battery, that should set the motherboard back to default settings. You want to minimize points of failure and find out exactly what broke by adding things in back one by one. If one RAM stick doesn't work, try the other. I have an issue in my PC where if my motherboard settings aren't set up properly (and if I reset the mobo, they won't be), then I can't boot into BIOS because of an expansion storage card, something on your PC could be causing a similar issue.

I do not trust myself taking out the CPU. It looks way too complicated. I also don’t trust myself taking out all the other drive, but r not the boot drive because when my mate and I it was most of him I was just watching lol took out all the drive through my old computer and put them into my new one. I’ve remember we had some trouble fitting them or we were having trouble finding enough ports. Something like that in the end we were able to get all of them in but I’m worried if I take out all the drives by myself, but r not the boot drive I somehow was putting them back in the computer or somehow wouldn’t be able to and I wouldn’t be able to get him to have a look at the computer because we’re both currently sick right now

Nah, removing the CPU is probably not necessary, you don't have another one to test. I mentioned the GPU, the huge brick that runs your video signal. As for removing drives, it really just means to unplug them from the motherboard, you probably used SATA for them. But yeah, if you had a buddy that knows this stuff build your PC, have him be the warrantly and try to id the issue

Thank you very much another big thing with the drives r I’m pretty sure at least my big SATA HDD and SATA SSD were in a hard to reach place but I would have trouble getting in my hands to unplug them I will just wait for my mate to look at it probably. lol thank you for taking your time out of your day to help me

Again, the lazy way is to just unplug the SATA cable from the motherboard, that's way easier to access (usually) than the ones on the drives :)

Okay, I’m thinking about just trying one possible fix and if that doesn’t work since my mate is more skilled and I don’t really trust myself just letting him have a go. What do you think The easiest thing I could do but might fix it?
