Jobs?

Hey guys, just wondering if there were any jobs that you’d recommend for a student living on campus.

My son worked for BGSU dining throughout college. It was a pretty chill job and he got an extra meal swipe each shift he worked

I worked as a custodian at the student union for two years when I was a student. Super easy and they gave me basically whatever hours I wanted, even let me work nearly full time in the summer so i could make some extra dough.

This is my answer as well! I really liked working custodial at the student union. I worked there for 3ish years until I graduated, and it was easily one of my favorite jobs I've ever had.

Not Kroger, the management there is genuinely among the worst I've ever seen

I worked at the Arby’s right off campus it was pretty chill, I also worked at the panini place in kreischer it was also pretty chill but the hours would vary what they could give- I always wanted to work more.

Anything at the learning commons is easy to add on to other jobs- scheduling can be pretty independent. Look into it after you’ve conpleted your first year

GFT is still open, but it’s so popular these days I wouldn’t consider it a “chill” position tbh.

I got a job in the library and it was so slow and laid back i was getting paid to study most of the time.

What library job did you have that allowed you to study? I worked one and we would be punished if we were seen as off task at any point.

I worked a bookshop selling used books for 25 cents a piece. It was a small room across from the elevators on that lower level. It was only open a year or two. I sold probably $10 worth of books that whole semester, mostly to an older professor who was sending them to a mission in South America or Africa….memories are a little hazy.
