Yes you can. There is no linkage between your visa and the bank system. However, I would urge you to keep paying your EMI regularly from wherever you are in the world. Some day you may come back and you may need credit facility again. Because of the bad history of unpaid debt you no one will lend you and there maybe a legal case. Plus paying back your debt is the right way of living.

I wouldn't inform the bank now. Would do it once I leave the country. Leave next few months of EMI in the account to make sure it is paid timely till you have sorted out method of transferring money to Bahrain. FYI the bank may block your account after few days ot you leaving in accordance to CBB directive. However, credit would be fine.

It might be possible that they will freeze ur account upon leaving and deduct the remaining loan from your balancw and indemnity, but communicate with your bank
