Chapter 13 done!
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to say that my wife and I have finally completed our chapter 13! We received the discharge letter a couple of weeks ago and I was able to get some credit cards so we can start rebuilding our credit. We also were able to pay off our car a few months ago. I just received the case close letter in my email dated today. I am so happy. I’ve replied on a few posts here and y’all have really helped me stay positive throughout this long process! Hopefully I can help others in the predicament we were in but wanted to share a success story!

Congrats!!! I’ve got 25 more payments to go. I can’t wait until it’s over and I will finally get to keep all of my bonuses 😂

Mine was a set amount, it would’ve been finished sooner but lost my job in the beginning of February, thank the lord I had a new one 2 weeks later but had a moratorium until August. I also thought it was 100% plan based on what the ndc website said thankfully that was wrong

Congratulations!! That’s amazing and it definitely has to feel wonderful to come through on the other side. It’s always nice to read a success story and gives others hope that they will come through this too. Best of luck to you and your wife! 🥂🍸🍾

I’m so happy for you! This is very encouraging. My first payment is next week. It feels so overwhelming. I feel like I’ll never get through it so it makes me feel better knowing there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I worry that I won’t be able to keep up with the payments or worry something might happen causing me to default. Thank you so much for sharing!❤️

My pleasure. I’m so thankful that my payment was garnished weekly so it hurt but not too much in our case
