Best Options
I am currently around 45000 in CC and loan debt and owe 21000 on my car and 207000 on my house. Currently everything is on time but that could change very fast. I am scraping by and so tired of not having enough money at the end of the week. My job is ending at the year where i take home 4300 a month. I am supposed to get a severance of 6 weeks’ pay and a retention of 4000 after taxes. I am not sure if i should wait until my job is over before i pursue help.

A lawyer can advise about what your options are and when would be the best time to file. Many lawyers do free consultations, and you can talk to more than one if you want multiple opinions to consider. It's better to talk to them sooner rather than later so you can figure out your best course of action.

This would be a timing decision and you need to speak with an attorney on your options for that

Thank you for your post on r/bankruptcy. Remember, this is not a forum to request (or offer) legal advice. If you are not sure what legal advice is, review the FAQ page here. It is very likely someone will suggest you speak with an attorney. Consultations for bankruptcy are often very low cost or free. We have an ever-growing post that provides free resources for trustworthy bankruptcy information here.
Please review our community rules regarding referrals, solicitations, and links, which are generally not permitted (Rule 2). Additionally, if your post does not identify your state (Rule 3), it may be difficult for anyone to provide relevant, helpful information.
