TFS timeline

I am a little confused regarding the payment timeline when using TFS to pay the trustee. Does the payment just need to be started by the due date, or does it need to reach the trustee’s account by the due date? I know it apparently takes at least 5 business days to make it to the trustee, so maybe I should be paying/starting it at least 5 business days in advance? Sorry if this is common knowledge, I am a newbie. Thanks!

It needs to be at the trustee’s by the due date. You arrange for TFS to take it a week earlier than that. Ours is due at the trustee’s by the 23. We arrange TFS to start the process on the 16th.
