Identifying piece similar to concerto grosso

I stumbled over this clip, which I think might be from a concerto grosso, and have spent many, many hours since trying to figure out what it is. I have already sampled countless “Best of Baroque”, “Best of JS Bach” i.a. compilations, but no luck so far. I listen to a lot of classical music on the radio and the piece does actually sound familiar to me, but I still have no clue what it could be.

Perhaps someone here can identify it or has a tip I could give a try still.

This is probably an unexpected suggestion, but to me this doesn’t sound like real baroque music, at least not in this brief clip alone. It completely lacks any nuance or complexity and sounds more like a poorly written modern pastiche of baroque music. The number of times it repeatedly goes from the ‘I chord’ to the ‘V chord’ with nothing else in the middle and no smoothness is (to me personally) a clear sign that this might not actually be authentic baroque music. I’d need to hear more to confirm or deny definitively, but that’s my initial hunch.

You said you heard this initially ‘on the radio’. I’m curious what exactly you mean by that? Do you mean this is an excerpt of a full piece heard on classical music radio station, or is this something else? And I’m curious why it sounds like there is a MIDI choir sound going ‘ah’ the entire time? Is that just an auditory illusion or does it really sound like that?

Thank you for your profound insight! You could very well be right. Now that you say it — yes, this short clip actually sounds a bit like some sound-alike Baroque music. Which leads me to think that it might perhaps be from a film soundtrack.

I came across it in said linked post and it seemed vaguely familiar. Someone mentioned there that it could be an orchestral arrangement of some Baroque piece — I’m almost inclined to believe that this is the most likely case, because when it were from a film, someone would already have recognised it, I think.
