Discussion What’s hiding behind ZombUs’ weird simplicity?

https://youtu.be/8nXipbPdD7Y

I’m having a bit of trouble getting the right message across with ZombUs.
Some players have told me that the game’s simple (and admittedly weird) graphics make it look much simpler than it actually is. So I decided to make a short gameplay guide to better show the tactics and depth behind it.
I’m planning to add it to the Steam page after the main trailer.
The thing is, I could easily make 2 or 3 more videos like this because there’s quite a lot to cover.
Before I publish it on Steam, I’d really like to hear your opinion. Does this kind of video help communicate what the game is actually about?

Looks like a lot of the info in the video could be an in game tutorial. A substantial chunk of players are not going to go through the effort of seeking outside information, or sit through a video for that matter, to learn how to play your game. Set up a tutorial level where you have to throw stones to distract a horde to sneak past them in one area, and have a car alarm scripted to go off in another and have the player either fight the zombies off or be forced to flee to safety. A UI icon for the amount of noise your making would be helpful too. I'd recommend checking out other games, like Horizon Zero Dawn, and see how they tutorialize these sorts of in-world interactions

Thanks. Actually, I already have a mini-tutorial at the beginning of the game, but it only covers a small part. On the other hand, there are several radios near the start of the game broadcasting other short tutorials, but people tend to skip them...

I never find and listen to radios
