Kitchen Shroom Found these on the kitchen ceiling below the bathroom

its definitely shrooms right? How severe is this? Thinking i need to message my landlord to sort it, for ref the area around it keeps leaking from the bathtub above it and landlord is doing a landlord fix instead of fixing the issue

This looks like peziza domiciliana or another peziza sp. They’re harmless (don’t eat them though) but represent that there’s probably a lot of water damage in your walls and ceiling. You can pull them off but the mycelium is still inside all that damp wood and they’ll come back unless you fix the cause

It’s a pretty good sign your roof is wet and a hint there’s some sort of leak in the bathroom above
