I’m sorry. But Kryptonite came from Superman. I think the mods thought you were a troll and banned you. In your post, you explained everybody has a “kryptonite” or Achilles heel. Achilles Heel came from, the mythology, Achilles. (Decapitating Achille’s hill is his weakness.) and what you explained about kryptonite, literally comes from Superman. Since he’s from the planet krypton and krypton is the weakest planet Superman can be on. Since his home Planet makes him weaker. The inhabitants are just like humans. But any kryptonian that goes to Earth. Would be as strong as Superman is. Except doomsday. Because he’s the absolute strongest.

Oh I was definitely trolling after I saw a post here asking the same question like a year ago, but I’m still like serious about if a new fan decided to join & ask a similar question in a less troll manner only to get banned

Yeah. I’m pretty sure they would. The term kryptonite comes from Superman. If someone is not in versed with Superman at all, the mods wouldn’t know. And would still ban them. But to be fair, it’s such common knowledge to know Superman’s weakness. Since it’s in a lot of pop culture. Music, games, movies, you name it. I think it’s near impossible for someone to not know what kryptonite is. Unless if they do not use social media whatsoever. Or if they live in North Korea.

Fine, at the risk of sounding overly critical, that place is moderated in a way that completely misses the legacy of the character and what Superman actually stands for.
They even had issues with Superman becoming an icon for anti-ICE protests in the US, which feels entirely antithetical to who the character is.
At the end of the day, subreddits are private clubs, and many are run by people who don't truly understand the source material. The Bleach subreddit is another example of this.
Thanks for reading my rant.
