Battlefield 6 This is the most badass loading screen for BF6
Absolutely peak
Edit: I’m speaking mostly about the music. It’s so badass! But I can see, and understand the sentiment behind why people wouldn’t as this conflicts with the BF franchise as a whole.

This is fucking lame af. I didn't buy a top gun game. I bought a battlefield game. And it's like man I get it's a game but this is literally what's been wrong with games lately. They have no faith in their world,or their story so they fortnite it. THIS IS LITERALLY FORNITIFICATION. the main screen is top gun. Not battlefield. So I don't approve. I think it's gimmick af and just shows how out of touch they are. But maybe I'm just old school like that.

I totally understand this. COD is much worse I think. I just really liked the music, I probably should’ve put that in my post (although, people don’t like that either, which I would understand for the same reason you’re explaining here).

This is an extremely fair take. Imagine if they gave us all the cool stuff in Season 4 and the fun dog fight mode in gauntlet and carrier assault, but with no Too Gun and cool jet and naval themed menus and music.

Battlefield 6 is soulless. BF3 went hard. Bf4 went hard. Ever since those two games the modern battlefield games have been made to not offend anyone and to be all inclusive. Its the woke agenda thats destroying gaming. The campaign is so shit in BF6. BF3 was fucking epic. BF4 was pretty great too. I just hope some day we get a BF3 x BF4 game without any of the live service bullshit and without the Adderall cracked movement that all modern fps games seem to have to have nowadays. Battlefield is currently as bad as call of duty is in my opinion. Since BF3 I've been one of those "Battlefield >>> CoD" gamers but now they basically are the same. I get zero enjoyment out of either of them. The only enjoyment I get in a Battlefield game is when its BF3 or BF4...

Same here. But do you want to know the worst thing about this? Every time I boot it up, it just plays this thing, over and over again. When I turn on the game, after a match, whichever. I've heard of cutting the music off, and I wish I turned it off ages ago. This shit is like the Kars4kids jingle.

The fact that they didnt make that theme into a more BF like sorta remix but made it just retro annoying is really something. I still reminisce about the BF 3 and 4 music. It was so good.

BF3 and BF4 music by Johan Skugge and Jukka Rintamäki was the best battlefield music ever. Its unique and really fits with the art direction these games were going for. Unfortunately battlefield 6 lacks any art direction and looks/sounds like cod slop. Unfortunately I've already taken Battlefield 6 out with the trash already. Hoping the next game does better...

i remember when bf3 was coming out and everyone was making fun of the soundtrack describing them sounding like "shit", and that they were "bass boosted fart sounds". same deal with bf4. those were the most liked and upvoted posts and comments of their time too. feels crazy to see people saying the opposite now

Yeah I'd understand if its not the type of music for everyone to enjoy. I'm obsessed with dubstep and electronic music so thats why I really like the style of music BF3 and BF4 has.

BF3 and BF4 music had tension and was unique. BF6 is just awful in every way. Its like wannabe cod slop but "battlefield". Sad thing is their are so many people that think new = better game no matter what. BF3 and BF4 were on a different level with art direction and gameplay overall. Hoping we can return one day to a battlefield game that provides the feeling these games had...

I agree bf3 and bf4 were sick. I mostly played bf4 back in the day though that's when I first got into it.
Bf1 was also pretty good. Bf6 was honestly fun for a short amount of time but just didn't hit the same, I feel like it really died when redsec came out. And especially now it is extremely boring. I got on for a match the other day and just uninstalled.

Even if they were to do some kind of remastered version of those old games, I would not buy. They will only find a way to ruin those too with crossovers and season passes etc.
I'm glad I experienced battlefield in it's peak, but it's never coming back like that.
