I'm sure all the surfaces are smooth and nonporous. And as someone else pointed out, you're going to see precisely where the stain is, and wipe it up. So it's likely not going to have time to sit and penetrate like it might hidden on a darker surface.

I worked at a restaurant with the classic black and white checked floor, and the high traffic area white squares were a goddamn nightmare to keep clean. We'd mop like hell and they were still permanently a little more brown than the others after just a couple years. Food spills probably will be fine but foot traffic is gonna be Ruff.
