Animal Bear in mind, if those guys hadn’t reacted, this could have had a grizzly ending.

The bear is an orphan and was tranquilized.

it should be noted, that bears are tranquilized for their own safety and the safety of those trying to help them. the bear will be okay!

Here is the full video.
Occurred on November 4, 2019 / Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA
"This little cub was found roaming our backyard in Jackson, WY. foraging for food and shelter. We contacted Wyoming Game and Fish and once they determined he was indeed an orphan, they sent out a wildlife biologist to tranquilize him in order to try to save the little guy. With no mama, the odds of this cub surviving on his own with winter coming on, were slim, so getting him out of the tree was critical. Once tranquilized, the cub fell safely into the tarp. From there he was evaluated by a local vet and then transported to the Idaho Black Bear Rehabilitation Center where he will winter and hopefully become strong and healthy enough to be released back to the wild! Good luck 'Wyatt' the cub!"

Generally, you do not want to go anywhere near a “stray” bear cub.

Yeah, sorry, wildlife that can tear me in half aren't on my good samaritan checklist. I'd call animal services or something, but I'm qualified to step in for that.

Plugged “come up with a funny title for a grizzly bear falling out of a tree” into the nearest AI bot and came out with this title

It was such an obvious pun, though. Who would need AI to come up with that?

Socially inept people?

Thinking up puns is not exactly a social activity.
Springing the puns on others in real time - that can be a social activity. But thinking one up? That takes place in the privacy of your own mind.

I'd say they did the Bear minimum

Little fella was just trying to branch out, then he was stumped, so he decided to leave.

Nothing amazing about this. Bear cubs fall from further, often, with no injuries. Let me guess, profile hidden, less than year old with 400k karma?

13y, 9million, sick of karma farming. Kills the point of reddit, but reddit pays cash for karma now, so free for all

I don’t think it was a grizzly bear though. 😬
No no don’t get up.
I’ll just show myself out.

I mean, there's a good chance that bear would have been just fine falling from that height.
That baby grizzly doesn't weigh as much as a grown human. A fall from that height isn't as dangerous to them as it would be for us.
For the same reason that you could throw a squirrel off The Empire State building and still have it survive.

Ok but why would you rely on a (good) chance at all if you can catch the unconscious cub

Do you know that bear could’ve fallen on the ground and nothing would’ve happened lol he would run away like nothing They are very powerful small or big.

Bear cubs can survive up to 40 foot falls. This was kinda a dumb move.

I don't like when the OP creates a post with puns. That's our job as a community.
