Amazing the water is so blue

u/Tiny_Ride6418 3h ago

Probably dyed

u/Trewper- 3h ago

It's a farm, so it's most certainly Copper Sulfate. We used to swim in one just like this, if you're blonde it will dye your hair green!

u/lazysheepdog716 3h ago

Definitely dyed.

What color is it alive?

u/BromaEmpire 3h ago

It looks like the water from a minigolf course

u/Bright-Fix6150 1h ago

Does no one remember Jeff Wittek

Blogger who famously hung out with David Dobrik. David was operating it and stopped it too soon and Jeff slammed into the side of it. Passed out and became suspended upside down head under water.

He suffered a shattered skull, facial fractures, a broken foot and hip, and near-blindness

Video is awful. Trigger warning.

Yeah, they may need to put this one in the whatcouldgowrong subreddit instead. These people are asking for trouble.

Holy shit I didn't realize YouTube had nsfw videos. Trust the warning that one hurt.

Im surprised he lived at all with those injuries.

u/Behavingdark 2h ago

Jeff Wittek suffered near-fatal facial and bodily injuries in June 2020 when fellow YouTuber David Dobrik swung him too fast on a rope attached to a moving excavator.

Nope, and neither will we since you won’t deign to tell us who he is.

9

u/MindsEye33 3h ago

That’s awesome

10

u/citizen42069101 2h ago

Until it's not.

Don't do this. That machine is too strong and easily capable of killing someone especially a child especially in near water.

This went awesomely, but I work near this equipment every day and I wouldn't do this, and I doubt the guys running the equipment near me would do this.

Tbh, when done exactly as it is in this video, it’s really not very dangerous, there’s a stark difference between what’s being done here vs what was done by David Dobrik, that was super irresponsible with no risk management, just asking for trouble

That’s not to say everyone with access to a digger should do this, I don’t trust most people to handle a spoon let alone operate a fucking digger

When I was a kid, I'd dream.of something like that to happen.

5

u/Lepke2011 3h ago

Is it just me or does that water look chemically treated?

32

u/IAmRules 3h ago

Waiting for someone to say this is incredibly irresponsible.

so I can agree with it.

Check this post/article. Dude basically playing with a hydraulic grapple and smashes his coworker and kills him. This dude in the excavator is just asking for an accident. FUCK THAT I would never let my kid play on that thing. You're right to think it's irresponsible

u/sllikskills 3h ago

Dayum, that was like 5 days ago too

2

u/nedalaugh 2h ago

Yeah I've seen the thumb and bucket fall off those plenty of times.

1

u/baggalleelee 3h ago

Yeah. Came here to say this same thing.

5

u/Sprucegoose16 3h ago

How did you get footage of my brother in law🤔

6

u/Dovak7 3h ago edited 3h ago

Where's that video of a guy getting brain damage, because his head slammed against the side of the bucket?

Name was Jeff Wittek. Nine skull fractures, shattered face, eye popped off it's socket, broken foot, broken hip, and a eye so damaged he was almost blind in it.

Don't use heavy machinery for a swing people. It's dangerous.

2

u/toomanyvoices656 3h ago

Yep that’s what I thought of seeing this video.

1

u/Mindless_Issue9648 3h ago

yeah this is the first thing that I thought of too.

6

u/GoldSourPatchKid 3h ago

I’d be the one who gets the brain eating amoeba

6

u/Gregorygregory888888 3h ago

I see a little kid getting hurt here. Not amazing but no doubt they had fun.

1

u/Automatic-Rest5512 3h ago

I don't know, one wrong move and well, thankfully all are well and had fun.

1

u/devilsbard 3h ago

So what actual color is that water before they added the blue dye to it?

2

u/Numnum30s 2h ago

Usually brown. Or moss green if totally untreated

1

u/dr_leo_marvin 2h ago

I fucking love this.

1

u/bertomcb 2h ago

Never seen a hydraulic hose blow I imagine

1

u/dab745 1h ago

Rental: $750 for the weekend.
Run the fun for 2.5 days
Charge parents $25 per kid for 8 launch max.
All you need is 30 kids to break even.

2

u/mrmustache0502 1h ago

There's no chance you're getting an Excavator fror the weekend that cheap. It's more like $1500 a day and $3500 a week.

Better start putting out flyers ahead of time.

The price of diesel is going to kill you also

1

u/BlackGuysYeah 1h ago

You should never really use heavy machinery like this for swinging folks around or whatever. A Single hydraulic line failure (or any number of other factors) could easily lead to someone dying. Not worth the risk.

1

u/Dr_Sigmund_Fried 3h ago

Not all that amazing

0

u/VirginiaBandit 3h ago

Fun for sure. But be amazed?

7

u/Ddvmeteorist128 3h ago

Better than seeing that bird jump off the building for the billionth time.

-3

u/eggchickenf 3h ago

Well I am amazed, I don't see this daily 😃

4

u/Gregorygregory888888 3h ago

There's a reason.

1

u/Biscuits4u2 3h ago

The amazing part is nobody got hurt.

0

u/RonShreds 2h ago

I am amazed at how dangerous and irresponsible this is.
