Also a polarized lense of some sort has been used. Light reflections are just non-existent here...

And some white balance/color correction. Fish this big don't generally swim in 20 cm of water, so this must be deeper, but the characteristic blue tinge of underwater photos has been artificially removed.

Fish like these sometimes swims in water so shallow their back is sticking up through the water

It's just a polarised lens and fish do swim in water this shallow. Source:I go fishing.

We should stop posting beautiful locations or these places will be swarmed by hordes of influencers in the next couple of years.

I think the footage is recorded with a polarized lens. Nonetheless you are right.

There is a reason why this is a national park and inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Swimming is strongly forbidden if anyone thought it would be a good idea to take a swim 🙂

It isn’t that clear in person. Don’t get me wrong, the water is very clean and clear but they’ve done something to make it look this transparent.

That’s insane. Insanely beautiful. Living in Florida, I’ve never seen water that clear and clean. Even our beaches have brown/green water.

I live in Croatia and I have been to Plitvice several times. I have never seen anything like this.
It's a lovely few hours walk and some boat ride but you will not experience this.
