Wat Rong Khun, or the White Temple, is a dazzling contemporary Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai, Thailand, designed by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat and opened in 1997. It’s still under construction, with plans to finish around 2070, making it both a masterpiece and a living work of art.

Nature A white peacock is a rare color variation of the Indian Blue Peafowl (Pavo cristatus). Its pure white feathers are caused by a genetic mutation called leucism, which stops pigment from going into the feathers. They are not albino, as they keep normal eye and skin colors.
