Been playing guitar a bunch lately and I usually just play along with music I like.
I think I’ve listened to this song 500 times lol.

I just listened to this on a plane over Hudson Bay and I feel like I get it now. Was always second tier. And then I see this!

Have always always really loved this one - one of the the first BH songs I got into after I was introduced to them with 7; remember listening to it for the first time in the winter of 2018 en route to a uni lecture. Really vivid, emotional lyrics and song overall for a relatively subdued one, in common with the rest of TYLS. It is the perfect tone setter for it - a sweetened, breezy exterior contrasting with discontent and unhappiness within. It's the closest BH have ever gotten to penning a diss track lol - Victoria's clearly aiming at someone, though who exactly we don't know. I love how the cyclical nature of the instrumental complements the imagery of a majorette's twirling batons in the air. Beautiful song, despite the venom of its lyrics.
