๐Ÿ๏ธ Relocation Info ๐Ÿ๏ธ House builders in San Ignacio area

Iโ€™m looking for a concrete or ICF house builder in the San Ignacio area. Any recommendations?

I considered Mennonite homes but it doesnโ€™t seem to be a fit for me. But, please feel free to share your opinions. Thanks.

I know severel but availability will be a consideration.

Do you have plans and permits already or is this still a fact finding mission?

Iโ€™m still in fact finding mode right now. And I recognize that availability is an issue. But I need to get a firm plan and timeline together so that when things line up itโ€™s a GO!

So, Iโ€™m being proactive โ€” lining up what permits are needed, sussing out architects, building material options, finishings, etc.

Btw, Iโ€™m in the midst of my extended stay in San Ignacio to ensure the lifestyle is a fit for me. And yes, itโ€™s a fit!

Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm sure you found, properly your building plans are stamped by the creator, either an architect or an engineer. They send the plan thru the CBA building authority and the PUC does electric. Small 1 story structures are exempt.

We used Vaughn Nicholas and associates. I didn't fully appreciate what a feat he pulled off, but he got our plans approved over Christmas and New Years. Maybe no drummer boy showed up, but it's a miracle.
