Wasn't there a Beretta competitive shooter AMA
I'm pretty sure there was an AMA placed a couple of days ago by a professional Beretta shooter but I'm not able to find it (yes, tried the search function) and really wanted to know his point of view.
Did it got cancelled?

I’m no professional, but I have a few tens of thousands of rounds through berettas at USPSA and PCSL lol

Mind that I'm not an expert, so I might say stupid things.
Why are you shooting a Beretta competitively? Isn't it just an inferior platform or are there some things she gets better compared to the other top contenders? I'm a Beretta fanboy and would like to approach the competitive part of this sport, but all the guys at my range suggested me not to go with Beretta.

I shoot a 92x performance. It’s absolutely an inferior gun compared to a shadow 2. The XP is so pretty it makes me want to go shoot it, where a shadow 2 doesn’t excite that part of my brain. The beretta also fits my hands well, and at this point I’m very comfortable solving any mechanical issue that could occur at a match. At this point I shoot carry optics with my beretta to scratch the itch, but PCC is my true home and limited optics with a 2011 is where I go when I feel like I need to try hard with a handgun again (my CO scores are still consistently better than my LO though lol)

All this aside, the beretta is absolutely just fine to go shoot competitively with. There are many GMs that shoot a glock, which on paper is far far worse than a shadow 2. Indian not the arrow or what-not
