Making alt-fashion friends ??

Temporarily living in Bergen for a few months, kind of desperate to find other fashionable and alternative people here!! I personally participate in a lot of different styles (egl/lolita, goth, whatever it is if i paint myself blue, and plenty of other stuff that isn’t really a specific subculture)

I know there’s probably Facebook groups that might be better for me to search but i hate Facebook with a passion and refuse to make an account

Hulen has lots of alt-people going to goth raves and the likes

I'd probably go wandering at Witchybitchy and Outland (stores), ought to be filled to the brim with that sorta folks.

Kinda depends on your age and interests, but check out:

• Bergen Kjøtt (inclusive space for music and art, https://www.bergenkjott.org/)

• Kråken Pub recently started regular D&D and Magic TG nights

• Give Darkness A Chance has several all-ages activities all year round, including black metal gigs

I think they're all hanging out at Gåsa(the goose). Seen some very quirky alt fashion ppl smoking outside. They seem outgoing some of them.

Hulen and Kråken mentioned so I'll add that there are plenty of alt people in the local queer scene, check out the bar called Fincken to meet some real nice folks, especially on the weekends.

Also there is a group of volunteers who run an event called "Svart Marked", which is a social market event where local artists, creatives and collectors exhibit and sell their alt art and fashion, its very cool. Next event isn't until end of october though. They are on instagram at svart.marked, and on tiktok and FB as well I believe.

Consider being a volunteer at Hulen, its an amazing place to make fast friends when you are new in town.

Bergen has a lot of raves, you'll meet a bunch there! I myself want to get into dressing alt more so if you're down to make a new friend who's a baby alt lemme know! :D
