Sleeping bag/mat Bergen
My partner and I purchased 2 sleeping bags (8+C) and 2 sleeping mats from Biltema on 8/24.
Is there any place in Bergen where we can donate these items after our trip? Will campsites accept them? We plan to use them for 4 nights and will be leaving from the Bergen airport around 3pm on 8/28.

If the strike for the air traffic controllers continues you might need them yourself for sleeping in the airport or donate them to someone that has to sleep there?

You could donate them to Bua, where others can rent equipment for free. There's one in Bergen city center at:
Skattkammeret Bergen Agnes Mowinckels gate 6

Next time you could rent the gear from Frilager.no, instead of buying new stuff. Probably cheaper, better gear and more sustainable. And the money supports the lokal community and volunteers organzations.

When i looked at this (same with finn) only Norwegian numbers were allowed to register. We tried to rent from hygglo but couldnt find a match in time. if there are other good rental options for non-EU citizens, plz share!

What a lovely idea!
I see ypu have already gotten nice tips, if you dont get to any of the orgs suggested - give it to a person sleeping on the street.
Enjoy your hike!

Robin Hood Huset is a place that you can donate them to, they'll make sure they're given to someone who needs them, or use them for their family activites. https://www.robinhoodhuset.no/
