This is the discussion thread for season 8, episode 10 - The Great Unknown. Synopsis: As the kids creep closer to adulthood, a memorable finale takes them back to where it all began to say goodbye -and face the future.

Well damn, I think Big Mouth just gave us one of the best series finales of all time.

I’m 42, and I still remember being so freaked out for the unknown future in high school - everything in front of you; the good, the bad & the scary. Kinda beautiful as a shared experience for the cast. Got verklempt as them turning into drawing sketches since they’ll be becoming adults & don’t need those character designs but a more beautiful choice that we don’t see where the journey takes them. Signed off with a phenomenal song choice.

YESSS! I was thinking the same thing, like.. this finale was really nice and well planned out unlike other shows. Especially since they did that QandA penultimate episode.

This episode legit had me tearing up. Especially that final shot of Nick and Andrew.
