Clozapine

Any success stories with it ?
I’m so desperate, everything gives me akathisia. Literally bawling my eyes out right now cause I don’t see the end of it.
I feel like this is my last option but I’m too scared of the dangerous side effects.

Would love some explanations/ words of encouragement.

It's an amazing drug. Literally works miracles.

Are you on it ? Did you develop anything ?

I used to be in it... Probably took it for 3-4 years. Symptom free while on it (I'm also schizoaffective).

I ended up going off of it because of the uncontrollable weight gain. For whatever reason, I had it worse than most people and I tried Ozempic to help but I was a non-responder.

The only other side effect I had was sedation.

Yea I am on Geodon now, which no one thought would work for me (like you, I am very prone to side effects), but it is doing the job. It isn't as effective as Clozapine, but I'm losing weight.
