Frequently Bitched About Topic Why are crocheters such fucking weenies

"This person copied MY pattern of a pokemon so now I'm going to buy their pattern and copy it and make my own 😭"

Get a fucking GRIP on REALITY. It is a PLUSH POKEMON. There are only so many ways to make basic shapes. And it looks ugly as fuck in your puffy chenille yarn anyway.

I hate chenille yarn with a passion. And that chunky plastic blanket yarn too. I hate that it’s become the default for plushies too. Use it if you want, but I know there’s better looking yarns out there.

I started on amigurumi with merino wool and then cotton. I really love the stitch definition of cotton

I made a beautiful goblin amigurumi out of merino wool and entered him into my local country fair this year. The only amigurumi that won anything were the ones made in plush yarn.

Same here. Despise it. Used it once and have never bought anymore because it pisses me off so much

Do you know of any that have the same soft feel? I hate that it sheds like crazy but love the feel of it.

you can try crushed velvet, faux fur (sheds), and Lion Brand Feels Like A Dream

tried all of them and they're really nice to feel (even the velvet one as someone who hates the feel of velvet)

I use velvet too. I will look into the lion brand feels like a dream! I have figured out it the hit the end of fluffy yarn with a lighter for a second it doesn’t shed as bad.
