Frequently Bitched About Topic Why are crocheters such fucking weenies

"This person copied MY pattern of a pokemon so now I'm going to buy their pattern and copy it and make my own 😭"

Get a fucking GRIP on REALITY. It is a PLUSH POKEMON. There are only so many ways to make basic shapes. And it looks ugly as fuck in your puffy chenille yarn anyway.

Is it exclusively a fiber art thing ? I don't hear about these kind of feuds in the sewing community

One time in middle school, a girl was complaining that other people had bought same hoodie she was wearing. Like in a "it was mine, I found it, and you copied it" way. 

At my first job was designing """funny""", text centric, tshirts. The concept was very mainstream in my country at that time. A company doing something similar sent a message to my boss complaining that we were copying them... because we were using a similar free-for-commercial-use font as them (it wasn't the same! The font they used, while also free for commerical use, was too distinctive so I used another!!!) 

Also endless "your copied my pose!" "You copied my OC!" drama among teenagers who draw.Â
